Each set of records on Locker 227 is displayed with a default sort order, and this default sort order may be different depending on what type of data you are viewing. For example, if you are viewing the artists on your watchlist, the artists are sorted by surname. If you are viewing all of the artwork at a particular auction, the artworks are sorted by lot number. You can change the default sorting by clicking on the heading of the column you wish to sort by. For example, in the last example you could change the sort order of all the artwork at a particular auction from being sorted by lot number, to being sorted alphabetically by artist surname by clicking on the 'Artist' heading. A small arrow will then appear next to that heading to indicate that the data has been sorted by that column. Clicking on the 'Artist' heading again will sort the artworks by artist surname in reverse alphabetical order, and the small arrow will change direction to indicate this. To return to viewing the artwork sorted by lot number, click on the 'Lot' heading.
Please note that this is an experimental feature on Locker 227, which may not work as expected on all headings. For example, sorting by 'Prices' may not work as expected. (Although the 'Advanced Search' is another option if you wish to find artwork within a particular price range).
