Why can't I link through to the Lawson Menzies artwork details pages? Print E-mail

For some users, the link to the artwork image and/or 'details' pages for some of the older Lawson Menzies auctions may link through to an auction calendar page, instead of directly to the image or details page.  To fix this, simply click through to an auction from this calendar page, and click to view an artwork.  It doesn't matter which artwork you view.  The next time you click on a link from Locker 227 to a Lawson Menzies page, it should work as expected.

For those interested in why this happens, it is because the Lawsons Menzies site sets what is called a 'session id' each time a visitor visits their website.  For some reason, sometimes your browser will not set this session id when linking directly from Locker 227.  This is a programming anomaly on the Lawson Menzies website, and therefore is out of our control.
