Our first goal is to have a complete record of Australian artwork at auction for this century.  Records for the major Australian auction players (Sotheby's, Christies, Deutscher Menzies, Lawson Menzies, Deutscher and Hacket, Bonhams and Goodman, Shapiro, Mossgreen) are almost complete, with the exception being auction no. 9 (Aboriginal Art) for Deutscher Menzies, and for some of these auctions we are missing the unsold lots and realised prices.  We expect to have this work completed by the end of 2008.

We are also completing the records from some of the smaller auction houses, such as Leonard Joels, Dalia Stanley and GFL Fine Art.

Presently, our database contains over 45,000 artwork records from almost 400 auctions, by almost 4,000 Australian artists.  If you  wish to determine the extent of our current coverage please view the full list of auction houses included, which also provides links that show the auctions included for each auction house.  Alternatively, you can view all the auctions sorted by date (most recent to earliest).
