If times are tough, Sydney art gallery owner Denis Savill isn't taking any notice.
Last night he bought two well-known paintings put up for auction at Sotheby's in Melbourne by the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Brett Whiteley's Balmoral sold for $990,000, while Savill handed over $198,000 for John Perceval's Pleasure Craft. Read more... |
